Adam Krzeszowiec

Adam Krzeszowiec termine ses brillantes études musicales en 2011 à l’Académie de musique de Katowice auprès de Paweł Głombik. Il continue d’étudier chez Frans Helmerson à la Hochschule für Musik und Tanz de Cologne et auprès de Gary Hoffmann à la Chapelle musicale Reine Élisabeth de Waterloo. Il participe ponctuellement aux cours de maîtres donnés par Heinrich Schiff, Gustav Rivinius, David Geringas ou Pieter Wispelwey. Lauréat de concours à Londres, Paris, et trois fois en Pologne, il joue comme soliste et chambriste dès la période de sa formation dans des salles célèbres, comme le Wigmore Hall de Londres, la Salle Gaveau de Paris, le Victoria Hall de Genève, ou la Salle Tchaïkovski du Conservatoire de Moscou, où il a l’occasion de collaborer avec de grands musiciens, comme Maria João Pires, Mischa Maïsky, Christian Arming, et avec de grands orchestres européens Il est aussi l’invité de prestigieux festivals, comme celui de Gstaad, de Verbier, du Schleswig-Holstein, ou de Prades, pour ne citer que ceux-ci. Depuis 2012 il est violoncelle-solo de l’Orchestre national de la Radio Polonaise et enseigne à l’Académie de Musique de Katowice où il est l’initiateur du Festival International de violoncelle.


Sein Musikstudium schloss Adam Krzeszowiec 2011 bei Paweł Głombik an der Musikakademie Kattowitz mit Bravour ab. Es folgten Studien  bei Frans Helmerson an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Köln und bei Gary Hoffmann an der „Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel“ in Waterloo. Er nahm an den Meisterkursen von Heinrich Schiff, Gustav Rivinius, David Geringas oder Pieter Wispelwey teil. Als Gewinner von Wettbewerben in London, Paris und dreimal in Polen und  nach  der Ausbildung trat er als Solist und Kammermusiker in berühmten Sälen, wie der „Wigmore Hall“ in London, dem  „Salle Gaveau“ in Paris, der „Victoria Hall“ in Genf oder der „Tschaikowsky Hall“ des Moskauer Konservatoriums auf, wo er mit großen Musikern wie Maria João Pires, Mischa Maïsky, Christian Arming und großen europäischen Orchestern zusammenarbeitete. Adam Krzeszowiecwurde zu renommierten Festivals wie Gstaad, Verbier, Schleswig-Holstein oder Prades (F) eingeladen, um nur einige zu nennen. Seit 2012 ist er Solo-Cellist des Polnischen Rundfunk-Nationalorchesters und unterrichtet an der Musikakademie Kattowitz, wo er Initiant des Internationalen Cello-Festivals ist.


Born in Katowice in 1987. He graduated with honours from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in 2011, under the tutelage
of Prof. Paweł Głombik. He also studied at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Köln under the guidance of Prof. Frans Helmerson and in Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth in Brussels, under Gary Hoffman. He has participated in many master classes, where he refined his skills in cooperation with world renowned cellists, such as Heinrich Schiff, Miklós Perényi, Gustav Rivinius, David Geringas and Pieter Wispelwey. He has been a laureate of international cello competitions in London, Paris, Hradec, Warsaw, Katowice and Dąbrowa Górnicza. He has also performed as a soloist and chamber musician in the greatest concert halls in Europe, such as the Wigmore Hall in London, Victoria Hall in Geneva, Salle Gaveau in Paris or Piotr Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow. He has cooperated with artists of world renown, such as, among others, Maria João Pires, Augustin Dumay, Gary Hoffman, Mischa Maisky, Christian Arming and Michel Tabachnik, as well as with world famous orchestras, such as NOSPR (Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra), Sinfonia Varsovia, Brussels Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonic Royal de Liège, Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, “Arcata” Stuttgart Kammerorchester, Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, AUKSO Chamber Orchestra, Bratislava Chamber Orchestra and Leopolis Chamber Orchestra.
He has participated in prestigious music festivals in Verbier, Sommets Musicaux Festival in Gstaad, International Music Academy-Switzerland in Rolle, Schleswig- Holstein Musik Festival, Casals Festival in Prades, PODIUM Festival and Ensemble Festival in Książ. Since 2010, he has played in a duo with the pianist Anna Krzeszowiec, with whom he won the Grand Prix at the 11th International Music Competition “Premio Citta di Padova” in Padua (Italy), as well as the first prize at Malta International Music Competition in 2014. Furthermore, he has been a member of the Polish Cello Quartet since 2011, with whom he regularly performs in concerts and yearly organizes the International Cello Academy in Nysa.
Since 2012, he has been the concertmaster of the cello group of the Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra in Katowice and a lecturer at the Strings Department at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. He was the initiator and organiser of the International Cello Festival taking place regularly at his Alma Mater. He has received scholarships of the Minister of Culture, the Mayor of the City of Katowice, the Marshall of the Silesian Voivodeship, as well as one within the ”Młoda Polska” programme of the National Centre for Culture.
He has also been awarded by the Yamaha Foundation.
